As of November 5, 2021, the Bureau of Local Government Supervision released the final list of 2021 Good Financial Housekeeping Passers on the official website of DILG.

Twenty-one (21) out of the thirty-five (35) municipalities of Camarines Sur have passed the stringent criteria and standards for the Good Financial Housekeeping for CY 2021. The DILG Regional Office – V, through its official facebook page shared the results of the CY 2021 assessment and congratulated the passers, including the Municipality of Canaman.

The Good Financial Housekeeping is a recognition of a Local Government Unit’s good performance in upholding the practice of fiscal discipline and sustainability, transparency and accountability in the use of public funds. The criteria include, among others, the audit opinion (qualified or unqualified) of the Commission on Audit and compliance to audit recommendations, compliance with full disclosure policy, and average local revenue growth and utilization of funds.
